Maguire left Hamilton a virtual spectator as he romped to victory

Stephen Maguire reached his first ever world championship semi-final with a 13-7 win over Anthony Hamilton.
Starting the day 9-7 up, Maguire took less than an hour to make breaks of 96, 137 and 113 as he won the four frames he needed to reach the semi-final.
"This season I've had a lot of good results although I've not won a trophy," said the world number nine.
"I've not lost a first-round game which has helped my ranking, it's just a block of things coming together."
Hamilton had to suffer the misery of a fourth Crucible quarter-final defeat, but admitted the better player had won.
"He was better all the way through the match," he said.
"When he's playing well he's as good as anyone."
