At Ali Cat Vintage, we have carefully curated a collection of unique vintage and second-hand gems inspired by the iconic styles of the 1980s and 1990s. Each piece is chosen to make a bold statement, perfect for the dancefloor and designed to elevate your wardrobe. Our mission is to promote individuality and sustainable fashion with every item we source.
How it started
My love for clothing started early. At just three years old, I’d make a beeline for the nursery dress-up box, pulling out my favourite outfit and wearing it on repeat. As I grew older, that obsession only deepened — every bit of pocket money and every wage from weekend jobs went straight on clothes, especially the high-impact high-street styles of the 90s.
Eventually, I discovered vintage and second-hand fashion, and everything clicked. It offered the thrill of finding something rare and special, while shopping in a way that felt more considered and sustainable. My fascination with style from past eras soon turned into something more hands-on, travelling with an empty suitcase and filling it with vintage gems sourced from markets and thrift stores across Europe.
Ali Cat Vintage was born in 2018, following a trip to Budapest where my suitcase came home bursting with incredible finds. I began selling pieces on platforms like Depop and eBay, before hosting my first ever pop-up at The Imaginarium’s New Year’s Eve party in Leeds in 2019/2020. In 2021, Ali Cat Vintage launched on Instagram — and that’s where it truly began to flourish.
I’m inspired most by the dance floor — clubs, festivals, after-dark moments where style is expressive, fearless, and worn without rules. That energy shapes everything I source. Today, Ali Cat Vintage exists to help you discover unique, statement pieces that build confidence, celebrate individuality, and allow you to create a signature style that feels entirely your own.
