Supporting Local Communities This Christmas with the Bluewater Giving Tree As we approach the festive season, we're thrilled to announce that Made in Kent Radio is proud to be supporting the Bluewater Giving Tree this year. This charity drive is set to make a significant impact in our community, helping over 40 local organizations in the run-up to Christmas. The Bluewater Giving Tree is a wonderful initiative where you can pick a tag from the tree, detailing the child you'll buy for, and then head off to choose the perfect gift at one of Bluewater's many stores. But that's not all This year, we're also accepting contactless, tap-and-go donations alongside physical gifts, ensuring you can still contribute easily to good causes. We're particularly proud to be supporting some amazing local charities, including: - Crossroads Care: Providing quality services to unpaid carers, giving them peace of mind while they enjoy some time to themselves. - Ellenor Hospice: Specializing in palliative care for adults and children in Dartford, Gravesham, and Swanley. - Imago Community: Promoting social action, supporting independence, and empowering communities. - MCK Greenhithe: Building capacity and creating lasting change through vocational training and supporting small business owners. - We Are Beams: Offering comprehensive support services to children and young people with physical, learning, or sensory impairments. Donations can be made to The Giving Tree, situated on Upper Thames Walk near M&S and Superdry, until December 20th. And, as an added convenience, there is also an additional drop-off point at our Made in Kent studios. Pop by and make a difference this Christmas!
