Mark Davis joined the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) board as a non-executive Player Director in January 2025.

The 52-year-old has been an ever-present on the World Snooker Tour (WST) since first turning professional in 1991 and reached a career-high ranking of 12th on two occasions in 2013 and 2014.

Known as ‘The Battler from Hastings’, Davis is a three-time winner of the 6-Red World Championship and defeated Darren Morgan to win the 2016 World Seniors Championship. His best performance in a full ranking event came at the 2018 English Open, where he picked up notable victories over John Higgins and Ronnie O’Sullivan to reach the final before losing out to Stuart Bingham in the title match.

Davis is also a member of the WPBSA Players Board.
