China’s Lan Yuhao was awarded a two-year World Snooker Tour (WST) tour card from the start of the 2025/26 season by finishing as runner-up in the CBSA Tour.
Born in 2008, Lan made his debut in a professional event when he was invited to the 2024 World Open as a wildcard – being defeated 5-1 by former Welsh Open champion Jordan Brown.
At the 2024 Asia/Oceania Q School, Lan twice came close to earning professional status by losing out to Sunny Akani in the penultimate round of the first event before falling at the final hurdle to Haris Tahir in event two.
