China’s Liu Wenwei successfully came through the 2025 Asia/Oceania Q School to secure his place on the World Snooker Tour (WST) for the first time in his career.
At the age of 21, Liu impressively overcame former professionals Tian Pengfei and Manasawin Phetmalaikul in the early rounds before defeating fellow countryman Luo Zetao in the final round to earn a two-year tour card starting from the 2025/26 campaign.
