Crookhaven of County Cork, Ireland, is the seat of the Crookhaven Harbour
Sailing Club. Website:
http://www.crookhavenhsc.com/index.html. As explained on the Sailing
Course page (left menu), Crookhaven Harbour Sailing Club is traditionally a
summer sailing club. It offers great sailing, a scenic location and good fun
located on the south coast and not far from Irelands most southerly point-
Mizen Head.
CHSC was founded in 1976. ISA certified courses are
organized; see also the extensive Gallery for photos of regattas, national
championships, or just sailing.
A drawing of the burgee appears here (it
may also be seen as a sticker on boats or painted on the clubhouses faade):
http://www.sailingnetworks.com/organisation/view/7397. It is a dark blue
burgee bearing what appears to be a shepherds crook, the staff pointing to the
fly tip and the curve enclosing a simplified upright anchor.
The clubs
website banner indicates that the (canting) crook is white and the anchor really
yellow so I have tried to remedy that.
