"Rodger Voelker, representing the Palmer Lake Historical Society, and Patricia
Schmidt from the Palmer Lake Art Group hold the official town flag made by Patty
during Colorado�s centennial celebration in 1976. That year was also the
nation�s bicentennial celebration. A new replica of the flag is being made to
hang in the town hall to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the town�s
founding in 1889."
