"The city�s new additions, which were revealed, included a city flag, public artwork, a parking garage, and the location of city hall.

The red on the flag represents Cocoa Beach�s beautiful sunsets and nods to the city�s location in the Sunshine State. The white represents the space program that our Space Coast thrives on.

Blue represents the beaches and waterways enjoyed by all. The flag�s dolphin symbol pays tribute to the marine ecosystem that the area is dependent on and protective of.

The dolphin�s left-to-right jump represents Cocoa Beach�s move toward a bright future, and the nontraditional movement reflects the city�s young age and mindset."
