Next generation committee

The Next generation committee was established in 2017 as a formal subcommittee of the Executive Committee

It provides an advisory function for the Executive Committee, in particular to consider the challenges facing the BBC from the perspective of younger audiences.

The committee meets each month (excluding August) and formally presents to the Executive Committee and BBC Board once a year. The committee is sponsored by a member of the Executive Committee.

Members are selected from across the BBC following an open selection process. Membership is usually for 12 months.
