Club championships gathering pace across Ulster

The GAA club championships are now heating up with the competitions in each county now down to the latter stages.
Each county have their own format for getting to this point, but it's knockout action for the vast majority from here on in.
There was quarter-final action in hurling and football over the weekend with some counties at the semi-final stage from this weekend.
BBC Sport NI takes a look at how the land lies across Ulster as the race for county titles heats up.
Final four time in Antrim
Both codes in the Saffron county are at the semi-final stages.
Defending football champions Cargin face neighbours Creggan on Sunday at Dunsilly (16:00 BST) having swept past Aghagallon in their quarter-final.
Ronan Devlin's side is bidding for a fourth-straight title with Creggan the previous holders of the Padraig MacNamee Cup in 2021.
The other semi-final sees last year's beaten finalists Portglenone take on Dunloy (Friday, 19:30 BST) at Dunsilly.
They edged out St Gall's in the quarter-finals with Dunloy getting the better of St Brigid's in the last eight.
In hurling, it's a repeat of the 2024 pairings as holders Cushendall take on St John's.
The west Belfast side beat city rivals Rossa at the weekend 2-15 to 0-20 with Ryan McNulty hitting the last-gasp winner.
The other semi-final sees Loughgiel, who had an impressive 1-20 to 0-11 win on over Ballycastle, face Dunloy.
Drama in the Armagh football championship
Conor Turbitt kicked 12 points in Clann Eireann's win against Killeavey
Conor Turbitt led the way for defending Armagh champions Clann Eireann has they fought off a second half fightback from Killeavey to win 0-17 to 1-12 and book their spot in the semi-finals.
They will face Madden in the last four after they squeezed through with a 0-16 to 1-12 win against Maghery thanks to a strong finish with Niall Smith fisting home the winner.
The other semi-final will see Crossmaglen face Cullyhanna.
Goals from Aaron O'Neill and Darron McDonnell helped Cross to a 2-20 to 1-17 win against Carrickcruppen while Cullyhanna saw off St Peter's 3-17 to 0-19 after extra-time.
This weekend it's the hurling semi-finals in the Orchard County with a doubleheader at the Athletic Grounds on Saturday as Middletown take on Craobh Rua at 14:00 BST, followed at 16:15 BST by the meeting of Keady and Derrynoose.
Cavan football at semi-final stage
We're also at the final four stage win Cavan with a double-header set for Breffni Park on Sunday.
Holders Crosserlough take on Gowna at 15:00 BST before the meeting of Ramor United and Kingscourt Stars at 17:00 BST.
Slaughtneil march on in Derry
Shea Cassidy scored Slaughneil's goal in their semi-final win against Swatragh
Ulster Club hurling champions Slaughtneil reached their 13th-straight county final with a 1-22 to 1-11 win over Swatragh at Owenbeg on Sunday.
Brendan Rogers led the way with eight points, while Shea Cassidy grabbed his side's goal with Paul Gunning rattling the net for Swatragh.
Kevin Lynch's will provide the opposition in the final as the Dungiven outfit were 3-20 to 1-13 winners against Ballinascreen.
Two goals from Tiarnan McHugh and a brilliant effort from Richie Mulligan formed part of a late scoring blitz to see their side home.
Football takes centre stage in the Oak Leaf County this weekend with the quarter-finals set for Owenbeg.
Saturday's double-header begins with Glen taking on Banagher at 17:00 BST before Magherafelt meet Bellaghy at 19:00 BST.
On Sunday, Slaughtneil and Lavey are first up at 16:00 BST with Steelstown facing Newbridge in the second game at 18:00 BST.
Semi-final pairings decided in Donegal
Max Campbell thumped home a late goal to bring Naomh Conaill level against Termon with Finnbar Roarty then hitting the winner as the Glenties men snatched a 2-12 to 2-11 win.
They will meet Four Masters in Sunday's semi-final in Letterkenny (16:00 BST) as the Donegal town side were 0-20 to 0-10 winners against Dungloe.
Odhran Mac Niallais starred for Gaoth Dobhair as they booked their place in the last four thanks to a 0-16 to 1-10 win against Kilcar.
St Michael's will provide the opposition in Letterkenny on Saturday (17:00 BST) thanks to their 0-26 to 0-15 win against Sean Mac Cumhaill with Michael Langan putting in a big performance for the victors.
Kilcoo's bid for seven still on

Kilcoo's bid for a seventh-straight Down title remains on course thanks to a 1-23 to 2-18 win over Loughinisland . Clonduff
The Magpies will face Clonduff in the semi-finals after they saw off Warrenpoint thanks to goals from Eamon Brown and Conor Og O'Hagan in their 3-8 to 0-10 win.
The other last four tie sees Carryduff, who beat Ballyholland 3-16 to 1-10, face Burren.
The final round of group games in the county's hurling championship takes place on Sunday.
Ballygalget and Portaferry are already through to the semi-finals and they meet in Ballycran at 12:30 BST with unbeaten records on the line.
Who will join them in the knockout phase will be decided in the other games which begin at 15:00 BST with south Belfast rivals Carryduff and Bredagh meeting in Teconnaught, while Carryduff is the venue for Ballycran's game against Liatroim.
Derrygonnelly and Ederney into final four
The group stages in Fermanagh football came to an end at the weekend with Derrygonnelly and Ederney both sealing direct paths into the semi-finals.
Derrygonnelly's 0-14 to 0-9 win against Enniskillen made it three wins from three in Group A to see them top the pile, with Belnaleck's 0-18 to 3-9 draw with Lisnaskea enough for second place and a home quarter-final.
They will face Teemore (Sunday, 16:30 BST) who had to settle for third place in Group B following their 0-16 to 2-5 defeat to Belleek who will have home advantage against Lisnaskea (Saturday, 17:00 BST).
Ederney romped to a 4-20 to 2-5 win against Kinawley to finish top and enjoy the bye to the last four.
Castleblayney retain Monaghan hurling title
Castleblayney retained the Monaghan Hurling Championship on Sunday with a 1-19 to 2-8 win against Truagh in Clontibret.
In football, it's now down to the knockout stage.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for 4/5 October with Corduff and Magheracloone meeting to decide who faces Inniskeen in the semi-final, while Clontibret await the winner of Latton and Scotstown.
Tyrone football at the quarter-final stage
It's the quarter-finals of the Tyrone SFC this weekend with the action set to begin in Omagh on Friday (19:30 BST) as Trillick face Pomeroy.
On Saturday in Carrickmore (17:00 BST) Errigal Ciaran put their Tyrone and Ulster titles on the line when they face Omagh St Enda's, while the remaining ties take place on Sunday.
In Pomeroy at 14:00 BST, Edendork take on Carrickmore, while the action moves to Dungannon at 16:45 BST for the meeting of Donaghmore and Loughmacrory.
