All-Ireland champions Tipperary lead the way with 13 nominations for the 2025 hurling All-Stars.

The Premier County upset the odds in July's final with a stunning second half display against Cork to win the county's 29th title.

Their performances have been rewarded with the bulk of the nominations which includes goalkeeper Rhys Shelley and all six defenders from their All-Ireland win which saw team captain Ronan Maher named man-of-the-match.

Attackers John McGrath and Jake Morris are named and are also nominated for Hurler of the Year along with Cork's Brian Hayes.

The Munster champions secured 11 nominations, including Patrick Horgan who announced his inter-county retirement on Tuesday.

Despite reaching the All-Ireland semi-finals, Kilkenny's six nominations and Dublin's four is less than Limerick who fell to the Dubs at the quarter-final stage, while the remaining breakdown sees two from Waterford and one apiece from Galway and Wexford.

Tipperary also lead the running for Young Player of the Year with Darragh McCarthy - who hit 1-13 in the All-Ireland final - and Robert Doyle, whose last-gasp stop on the line from Kilkenny's John Donnelly in the semi-final proved crucial, named alongside Limerick's Adam English.

The 2025 All-Stars will take place at Dublin's RDS on Friday, 7 November.
