Cullyhanna came from nine points down to beat Crossmaglen and reach the Armagh SFC final, while Magherafelt hammered Glen to progress to the Derry decider.

Cullyhanna beat Cross 1-21 to 0-23 to set up an Orchard final against Madden and Magherafelt returned to the Oak Leaf showpiece with a 4-15 to 1-14 victory over Glen.

At the Athletic Grounds, Cross led 0-15 to 0-8 at the break, with Cian McConville and Oisin O'Neill dominating the scoreboard.

Cullyhanna trailed by nine midway through the second half, before found Shea Hoey found the back of the net.

Cian McConville was black-carded late in the game, before Aidan Nugent - who finished the game with 0-13 - landed two two-pointers to put Cullyhanna one point up.

Rian O'Neill dropped a free short with the final action of the game, as Cross tried to find a way back into a game they thought they had won.

History will be made in a fortnight's time at the Athletic Grounds when either Madden - who dethroned Clann Eireann on Friday - or Cullyhanna win a senior county title for the first time.

Goals galore at Owenbeg

At Owenbeg, Magherafelt scored four goals to deny Glen a fifth successive Derry final appearance.

Gavin Devlin's side controlled the game from the outset, with two first-half goals from Conall Higgins giving Magherafelt a 2-12 to 0-7 half-time lead.

Glen - who won three titles in a row between 2021 and 2023 before losing last year's final to Newbridge - threatened a second-half comeback.

However, their momentum was stopped when Derry star Conor McCluskey added a third Magherafelt goal.

Zach Gavigan added a fourth in injury time before Alex Doherty scored a consolation goal for Glen.

Magherafelt will face the winners of Sunday's second semi-final between Newbridge and Slaughtneil.

The Derry SFC final is set for Celtic Park on Sunday 19 October.
