Tonight will see cloud and rain push in from the west, the rain falling heavy at times. Eastern parts of the UK should remain mostly dry but with increasing amounts of cloud. Strengthening winds.

Tomorrow, the band of rain will continue to sweep eastwards across the UK, clearing from Northern Ireland, Wales and south-west England in the evening. Strong winds will be possible at times.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday
Windy in England and Wales on Monday with blustery showers, some of these likely thundery. Becoming drier for most northern areas as rain becomes confined to the far north of Scotland. Breezy with showers and sunny spells on Tuesday. Wednesday will be dry and sunny for many, though some cloud and patches of rain may linger in the north. Turning wet in the far south-west later.
