The team that crowdfunded their way to a World Cup Final

More Than The Score

Available for over a year

Ahead of the Women's Rugby World Cup, Canada fundraised a million Canadian dollars to help them achieve their goal of winning the World Cup. They’re in the final and will face tournament hosts and the world's top ranked side, England in the decider. Maz Farookhi is joined by BBC rugby commentator Claire Thomas and the first captain of the Canada women's side, Stephanie White de Goede, to discuss what winning the event for the first time could do for women's rugby in the country. Stephanie also gives us an insight into her daughter, Sophie, who after a year out with a serious knee injury has been one of the standout players of the competition.
