While in your head you always want to be the centre of attention, you tend to shy away from the spotlight when it finally shines on you. You're at your happiest when when surrounded by people who you know love and support you, without them having to say it. Deep down you just want acknowledgement from your peers and feel that sometimes you don't get enough recognition for all that you bring to the table.

When it comes to self-criticism you're extremely tough on yourself. Your need to always succeed in everything you do often comes at a cost to your mental wellbeing as you sometimes end up unintentionally distancing yourself from those around you. It's important for you to go easier on yourself – after all, you'd never hold anyone else to the standards that you set for yourself.

You're overly critical of yourself

You're confident in your ability to process information and come to your own logical conclusions. When those around you are happy to believe what they're told, you tend to be a lot more critical and want to develop your own opinions. This allows you to stand up for what you truly believe in and makes you a person others look to when someone needs to take a stand.

You're an independent thinker

Large groups are your worst enemy – just the thought of them is enough to send you into a cold sweat. This doesn't mean that you don't enjoy socialising, it's just that you prefer interacting with people one-on-one. This allows people to get to know you better and often leads to more personal friendships – which is something you value more than loose friendships with a large group of people.

When it comes to expressing personal feelings and emotions you're pretty reserved, especially among people you're not too familiar with. This is mostly due to a distrust you have of strangers or acquaintances you don't know that well. However, your willingness to open up to those you deem closest to you allows you to strengthen the bond you share with those people.

You're naturally a sociable person, even if you don't always come across as such. Although most people seem to think that you enjoy spending time alone, this isn't always the case. That's not to say that some time alone isn't great for you, it's just that you're prone to overthinking, so company is a welcome distraction. This allows you to really appreciate friendships and anyone who welcomes you into their social group – something you repay by being great company.

I read all the results from other commenters and I can relate to each one (one way or another). I always do that, check if the quiz uses the barnum effect/forer effect.
