Denise Eaton began her career with Westminster Press, working on titles in south east Essex and a national news agency before transferring to Kent. After editing the KM's Gravesend and Dartford titles she was appointed the Kent Messenger's first female editor in 2011 and has led the teams to multiple industry awards, including The Regional Press Award's Weekly Newspaper of the Year.
