  • Exactly this. AI that actually works with you instead of spitting out answers you have to untangle later ✨

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you should be working alongside your AI tool, not just feeding it commands and expecting it to do the work correctly. AI is a great resource to help you finish your work much quicker. It also hallucinates, makes mistakes, and doesn’t always get the full context of the problem you’re trying to solve. That’s why I prefer to work with my AI tools as an active collaborator. I tried Count last week to help me with a marketing analysis, and using the tool made me feel like I was collaborating with a developer. Count’s canvas-like platform is probably my favorite feature. The platform gives you and your AI agent the freedom to build your presentation right alongside your AI queries. So when you’re done asking questions, you have a presentation-ready analysis--not a string of messages. And if you’re not feeling creative, you can use one of Count’s pre-built templates. So you can spend less time formatting a slide deck, and more time getting work done. I’m very excited to be partnering with Count on their January launch! • Meet the Count Analytics Agent 🤝 We launched Count AI. It's good. Like, really good. Unlike chatbot BI, it builds full canvases from your data; CSVs, sheets, databases, semantic layers. Runs on our compute layer so it won't hammer your warehouse. The output? Accurate analyses you can actually work with and iterate on, not chat theatre. Join CEO Ollie Hughes and Data Storytelling Lead Josh S. for a speedy thirty-minute show and tell. They'll demonstrate what it does with real data, share what early customers have learned, and answer your questions. • Nice use of Count AI to dodge the grunt work; that's the whole point really. 🤷🏻♀️

Most Data Analysts prepare for the wrong things in 2026. So I tested something cool to learn about it: I used 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁, an AI Agent to analyze 10k Data Analyst job postings from 2025 and 2026. Here’s what actually stood out: 𝟭) 𝗦𝗤𝗟 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 It appears in 77.8% of Data Analyst roles. (𝘠𝘦𝘴, 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘗𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘯.) 𝟮) 𝗦𝗤𝗟 + 𝗣𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼 Shows up in 50% of analyst jobs. 𝟯) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁: - Analytical thinking (87.8%) - Team work (82.9%) - Business acumen (72.9%) And the cool part is I was able to analyze all these jobs, without writing a single line of SQL. I just: - Uploaded a CSV - Asked Count AI agent my questions - Got insights + visuals in few minutes That's the kind of work that will take me few hours as a Data Analyst to pull, and by asking the right questions, I was able to save so much time! • We built an AI agent that actually shows its working. Count AI is live. No waitlist, no theater; just a proper analytics agent that doesn't treat you like an idiot. Here's what makes it different: 🤝 Collaborative canvas, not a chat box The agent works directly in your canvas. You see every query, every assumption, every step. Edit anything. Reuse everything. No black boxes pretending to be clever. 🏭 Compute that doesn't destroy your warehouse Most AI agents either slam your database or make things up. Ours distributes queries across your warehouse, our servers, and your browser. Hundreds of queries per prompt; zero existential dread about your AWS bill. 🔒 Governance that actually scales Count Metrics gives the agent definitions and guardrails. Version control. Permissions. All the boring infrastructure you need to deploy this thing without causing chaos. The result? Everyone in your org can now work with a world-class analyst. Not a chatbot that hallucinates KPIs. Watch the demo below & read the launch post → https://lnkd.in/ekv4CXs7 The Count Agent is live in your account now. ✨

  • Your org is already using AI for analytics. They're just doing it in ChatGPT; pasting data, trusting whatever comes back, zero auditability. Leadership wants AI-powered insights yesterday. You're stuck choosing between locking down AI (looking obstructive) or giving analysts controlled access (becoming the bottleneck). Neither works. The problem isn't AI itself; it's that chatbot AI treats analysis like a one-shot magic trick. No "show your work," no way to interrogate the process. A black box that undermines everything you've built around trust. In this webinar, our CEO Ollie Hughes covers how to roll out AI in your BI responsibly without choosing between speed, governance, and trust. We'll look at the auditability problem, why one-shot AI answers are incompatible with good analysis, and how AI can work as a collaborator (not an oracle) so you can examine its process and validate its work. For data leaders feeling pressure to "do something with AI," data teams figuring out where AI fits, and anyone stuck between "ban it" and "let chaos reign." You'll leave with a framework that doesn't force you to choose between progress and responsibility. • Back at it, then. 😃 New year, new you? Give it nine days. By then, the gym membership's gathering dust, the ambitious goals are "being refined," and you're back to the same spreadsheets with a different date in the corner. We're not judging. We're data people. We know how this goes. Welcome back. Count's here when the optimism wears off and the real work starts. 🫶

  • Right. It's that time of year. ⛄️ Take the break. Actually take it. Close the laptop, ignore Slack, let the dashboards refresh themselves for once. We're not sending webinar reminders. We're not dropping product updates. We're not doing that thing where companies pretend to care about work-life balance and then post thought leadership on Boxing Day. The data will still be there in January. The "urgent" requests can wait. You've earned the rest. Happy holidays from the Count team. See you in 2026! 🫡 ✨ A snippet from our festive metric tree - view it on our feed 🎄

We built a Christmas metric tree. 🎄 Meet the Evergreen Conclave: sentient Christmas trees born when the North Pole's metrics merged with Count's AI Agents (more on that soon). They measure festivity through the Maximum Merriment Maintenance Measurement. Naturally. Because nothing says "holiday spirit" quite like letting an AI-powered conifer analyse your seasonal performance metrics. ⭐️ #Data #Analytics #BusinessIntelligence #MetricTree
