We are hiring: Senior Robotics Research Engineer at Deepen AI, Hyderabad. Full Time We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Robotics Research Engineer to work on challenging and impactful problems in robotics. Our work spans point clouds, 3D computer vision, computational geometry, numerical optimization, and statistics. In this role, you will read and analyze current research literature, design and evaluate algorithms, and implement robust, high-performance solutions for real-world robotic systems. Key Responsibilities Research, design, analyze, and implement algorithms for robotics and 3D computer vision problems Read and translate state-of-the-art research papers into practical, scalable implementations. Develop numerical, geometric, and vision-based algorithms for point clouds and robotic perception. Implement efficient, maintainable code in Python and C++ Collaborate with researchers and engineers to solve complex technical challenges Required Qualifications Strong foundation in mathematics and numerical analysis, including linear algebra and optimization Exceptional algorithmic problem-solving and coding skills, competitive with Putnam Examination and ICPC-level performance Experience with computational geometry and robotics algorithms, including SLAM and point-cloud processing Familiarity with 2D and 3D computer vision algorithms, including classical methods such as Structure from Motion and Visual SLAM Experience using LLM-based coding tools Master’s degree in Robotics, Computational Geometry, Computer Vision, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications PhD in a relevant field Familiarity with modern deep learning methods for computer vision Experience with OpenCV, Open3D, deep learning frameworks, and ROS Additional Notes No specific number of years of experience is required; we value technical depth, mathematical rigor, and problem-solving excellence over tenure.
