NetPatrola and the Serbian Safer Internet Centre (SIC) regularly run awareness-raising campaigns to empower young people and promote the reporting of harmful online content. Key initiatives include Take It Down, which helps young people remove intimate images shared without consent, and Rethink, a preventive campaign encouraging users to pause and think before sharing content online. The Centre also delivers interactive educational programmes that teach children how to recognise risky situations, fake profiles, and online manipulation. Alongside these campaigns, the SIC produces guides and educational materials and organises workshops, webinars, and public events across Serbia to strengthen digital literacy and online safety. INHOPE is the leading global network of 57 hotlines in 52 countries combatting online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
About us
INHOPE is the leading global network combatting online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The Network consists of 57 hotlines in 52 countries (as of June 2025) that provide the public with a way to anonymously report illegal content online with a focus on CSAM. Reports are reviewed by content analysts who classify the illegality of the material, which is then shared with local Law Enforcement Agencies and a notice and takedown order is sent to the relevant Hosting Provider. We support hotlines and their partner organisations through training, setting high quality standards and best practices for hotline operations, and ensuring staff welfare. We provide the hotline network with a secure platform called ICCAM that facilitates the exchange of CSAM reports between hotlines and INTERPOL. INHOPE promotes legislative and policy developments that support our vision of an internet free from CSAM. INHOPE is based in the Netherlands and our member hotlines operate across six continents: Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North and South America. In a borderless digital world CSAM has global consequences and as its distribution grows so do our efforts. This is only possible with the support and funding from the European Commission, Safe Online and INHOPE’s corporate partners. Join us in the fight!

Our first Hotline of the Month for 2026 is NetPatrola, the Serbian national hotline operating within the Serbian Safer Internet Centre (Centar za nestalu i zlostavljanu decu) Founded in August 2013 by Fond B92 and integrated into the Safer Internet Centre in 2018, NetPatrola was created to address the growing gap between online abuse and accessible reporting mechanisms. It provides a safe and reliable channel for reporting illegal and harmful online content, with a strong focus on child sexual abuse material (CSAM), as well as cyberbullying, threats, hate speech, and other online risks. NetPatrola joined the INHOPE network in 2021, enabling rapid international cooperation and the efficient exchange of reports across borders. The hotline works closely with governmental bodies, civil society, and educational institutions to ensure reports lead to concrete action. Its team of four specially trained experts also plays a vital educational role, supporting children, parents, and teachers through awareness and prevention activities. New national survey reveals the scale of gender-based cyberviolence in France In 2025, Point de Contact and partner organisations conducted a major national survey on gender-based and sexualised cyberviolence, gathering over 2,000 responses. The findings underscore the severe and growing impact of online violence: 🔹55% of victims are minors, highlighting heightened vulnerability. 🔹More than 1 in 4 victims experienced non-consensual sharing of intimate content — rising to 36% among minors. 🔹82% of victims are women or girls, revealing strong gendered patterns. 🔹Only 12% reported incidents to authorities, exposing significant barriers to seeking justice. Our hotline of the month Point de Contact is co-leading a nationwide Digital Outreach Study Project aimed at improving protection for minors subjected to online sexual exploitation. Developed with the PARÉ programme (Droit d'Enfance) and involving more than twenty organisations, the initiative focuses on harmonising outreach practices, improving early identification of minors at risk, and equipping frontline workers with better tools to build trust with young victims and survivors online. Throughout 2025 and 2026, expert groups will exchange insights, assess challenges, and co-design practical recommendations to strengthen national responses. INHOPE's French member Point de Contact launched a new Professional Reporting Platform In early 2025, Point de Contact introduced a dedicated Professional Reporting Platform for NGOs regularly exposed to illegal online content - particularly those supporting survivors of gender-based violence, sexual violence, and exploitation of minors. Through this secure space, partner organisations can submit reports, follow case progression, communicate directly with analysts and legal experts, and access statistics. By offering structured workflows and tailored guidance, the platform enhances cooperation across civil society and strengthens support systems for victims while ensuring NGOs can maintain their own approaches. #hotlineofthemonth #trustedflagger #DSA #safeinternet
