Your coaching sessions are powerful. But what happens in the 167 hours between them? For most clients, momentum fades. Insights slip away. Growth feels invisible by the next session. That's why we built something different. JourneyLoop now delivers Weekly Check-Ins between sessions. 3x per week, your clients receive AI-generated questions personalized to their journey. No typing required. Just one tap to reflect. When they respond, our AI companion goes deeper. Asking the uncomfortable questions. Drawing from actual session themes and behavioral patterns. And their Client Portal becomes a living record. Goals, growth-edges, breakthrough moments. All in one place. Evidence they can see. Because growth doesn't stop at the session door. Coaching made smarter for busy professionals.
About us
🎯 Our Mission Transforming coaching from intuition-based practice to evidence-based science — while keeping human connection at the center. 🔍 The Problem We Solve Professional coaches guide transformation without feedback loops. Session recordings hold untapped insights about development, but privacy concerns and technical barriers leave this intelligence unexplored. Meanwhile, clients invest in coaching without clear visibility into their progress. The result: Coaches develop in isolation. Blind spots remain hidden. Progress feels subjective and unmeasurable. 🥋 Our Unique Story JourneyLoop was born when our co-founder, executive coach Michael Shehane, used AI to analyze his own coaching sessions — and discovered blind spots he couldn't see alone. Patterns he'd been unconsciously reinforcing. Questions he wasn't asking. Moments where he could have gone deeper. That revelation became our mission: give every coach the tools to see what they cannot see alone. We're uniquely positioned to solve this: Marco Lamina brings 15 years of software engineering expertise and emerging AI coaching experience. Michael brings 10+ years of executive coaching and deep learning theory knowledge. Together, we understand both the technical challenges and the sacred nature of the coaching relationship. 🌱 What We Believe - Great coaches maintain a lifelong learning mindset - Objective feedback accelerates mastery more than experience alone - AI should augment human connection, never replace it - Privacy and transparency can coexist - Progress should be visible and measurable, not just felt ✨ Our Vision A coaching profession where blind spots are discovered through evidence, not accidents. Where session data becomes a learning asset, not a liability. Where coaches embrace continuous improvement as a professional standard. This isn't about replacing the human element in coaching — it's about giving humans the tools to see clearly.

Professional coaches want to know if they can trust AI with their clients' breakthroughs. Our founder Marco Lamina addresses this directly in Part 3 of his AI Ethics series. What coaches should demand from any AI platform (including ours): ✓ Clear data flow documentation ✓ Third-party access transparency ✓ Privacy-first architecture (no training on your data) ✓ Delete means delete policies At JourneyLoop, we built these principles into our foundation because coaching relationships are sacred. Technology should amplify that trust, not compromise it. What would you need to verify before using AI in your practice? Read Marco's insights below 👇
Your hesitation about recording sessions isn't a weakness - it's proof you understand what's at stake. Most coaches I talk to feel this same resistance. Not because they're behind the times, but because they know their client's breakthrough moments deserve protection. But hesitation doesn't have to mean avoidance. There's a way to use AI that respects both the work and the client... The key isn't trusting AI companies. It's knowing exactly how to verify their practices. In Part 3 of my AI Ethics series, I reveal the 3-pillar transparency framework that transforms professional hesitation into informed confidence. You'll learn exactly what to verify before recording any session. Our founder Marco Lamina tackles the elephant in the room: AI privacy in coaching. This guide represents our core philosophy at JourneyLoop - coaches deserve transparency about how AI handles their data. Privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation. #EthicalAI #CoachingTechnology #PrivacyFirst
Samsung lost $3 billion in market value when their engineers made one simple mistake: they pasted sensitive data into ChatGPT. Engineers who build technology for a living didn't realize ChatGPT stores everything you type. Uses it to train itself. Once your client's breakthrough moment enters that system, it's there forever. Now imagine what happens when you paste your coaching session notes into the same tool. I've been deep in the world of AI and coaching, figuring out the third way: How to leverage AI's power without compromising the sacred trust your clients place in you. In Part 1 of my new series, I share the exact questions every coach needs to ask before using any AI tool. Louise Doorn highlights something crucial: the ICF's 2025 update now requires coaches to remain aware of "current coaching best practices and use of technology." The gap Louise mentions is real: coaches who embrace technology thoughtfully vs. those who resist it entirely. But there's a third path: coaches who use AI to see their blind spots, track real progress, and become even better at the human work of transformation. Technology won't replace great coaches. But coaches who integrate it without losing their humanity will lead the profession forward. That's the future we're building for. 🌱
What happens when half the coaching profession ignores the ICF's biggest update in years? The ICF just updated its Core Competencies (2025) after 4 years. That's the gold standard for 57,968 credentialed coaches worldwide. And it's not optional. This will shape credentialing and renewal. One line changes a lot: "2.02. Engages in ongoing learning and development as a coach, including remaining aware of current coaching best practices and use of technology." In my outreach to coaches over the last three months, US coaches are leaning in with gusto (curious, open, experimental) . In the Netherlands, much less so, although those you do are very engaged! If the ICF now mandates technology awareness, what does that mean for coaches who are resisting AI? > the quality of their coaching will lower? > their credentialing will become harder? > a gap will widen with clients who already use AI every day? My take: technology won't replace great coaches. But coaches who reject it will get replaced by those who integrate it without losing their humanity.

We're not talking enough about how AI mimics human connection. When AI sounds empathetic and confident, we unconsciously treat it as human — even when we know it's not. This illusion tricks us into trusting advice that sounds human but comes from something with no human experience. The real AI safety question isn't just about capabilities. It's about synthetic intimacy and whether we're ready for machines that can fake understanding this convincingly. #AI #HumanConnection #TechEthics #AISafety #DigitalWellbeing #AICompanions #FutureOfAI

Scott Galloway just killed his AI twin. Why? Because it was too good at mimicking connection, and that deeply scared him. Today, most of the conversation about AI revolves around capabilities. But, we’re missing the bigger disruption. For the first time, computers can form meaningful emotional rapport with humans at the marginal cost of electricity. AIs can become confidants, therapists, and partners. And just like previous technologies that upended social dynamics, this one may need guardrails before the damage is done. The real revolution won’t be the reasoning capabilities of GPT6 or GPT7. It will be to what extent we can shape synthetic intimacy into something that promotes human flourishing. Or as Galloway put it: "No one under 18 should get access to an AI companion. We age-gate porn, alcohol, and the military but have decided it’s OK for children to have relationships with a processor whose objective is to keep them staring at their screen, sequestered from organic relationships. How can we be this fucking stupid?" #AI #SyntheticRelationships #ScottGalloway #TechEthics #FutureOfWork #ParasocialDynamics #AICompanions #EmotionalLabor #DigitalWellbeing #HumanConnection

This hits home, Jodie. Coaches spend years mastering their craft. But your own patterns with clients? The questions you default to, the breakthroughs you miss, the moments you talk when you should listen - almost impossible to see. That's what JourneyLoop surfaces. Not just what happened in sessions, but what you're consistently missing. The patterns that make you better. What would you see if you could watch your coaching from the outside? #CoachingIntelligence #AI
You have blind spots Find them with ChatGPT Don't let someone else point out your weaknesses. Don't let something you overlook be the reason you don't get chosen for that gig or put forward for that opportunity. One prompt, quick answers. No more surprises. Paste this into ChatGPT: "I want to work on my weaknesses for better results. Based on what you know about me, tell me areas I consistently struggle with or overlook. Make the advice short, sharp, and direct." Next step? Get to work.

We're creating a new category: AI Coaching Intelligence Here's why it matters: MEETING TOOLS weren't built for coaching dynamics. CRMs weren't designed for transformation tracking. NOTE APPS don't understand coaching patterns. Coaches deserve technology built specifically for how coaching actually works: ↳ The sacred space of transformation ↳ The patterns that emerge over time ↳ The subtle threads between sessions ↳ The breakthrough moments that matter Coaching Intelligence means: ✓ AI that enhances presence, not replaces it ✓ Technology that disappears into your workflow ✓ Insights that amplify your natural brilliance ✓ Support that arrives exactly when needed Not just transcription. Not just scheduling. Not just notes. Intelligence. Built for coaches, by coaches. This is bigger than features. It's about elevating an entire profession.
