AWS re:Invent made one thing clear: the security architecture that worked for the last generation of software won't hold up for this one. Every conversation came back to the same question: if AI agents are about to be everywhere, what's securing them? 🔒🤖 The answer isn't cloud-enabled versions of legacy IAM. And it’s a wrap at AWS re:Invent! Big thanks to everyone who stopped by the CockroachDB booth to chat with us. 🤝 We loved showing up together and sharing the energy of our partnership. A big theme in conversations: MCP servers and agentic AI are taking off, and people are already thinking hard about guardrails, especially making sure agents and LLMs only return data users are truly authorized to see. 🧱🙂 And yes, the LEGO in the photos are spot on.
