  • We are stronger together! 👏 Continue supporting our WS/FC Schools: AllInForOurSchools.org

When our community comes together, incredible things happen. In just one month, more than 200 donors have helped raise nearly half of our $3 million goal for this school year's immediate needs, funding classroom supplies, student success programs, and book drives that support every child and every teacher. Now, with the creation of the WS/FCS Futures Fund, seeded with $900,000 from The Winston-Salem Foundation and Twin City Foundation, we're building a solid foundation for sustainable success. Be part of this progress - every contribution counts at ➡️ AllInForOurSchools.org

Since 2021, the Book with Purpose program has brought our community together around one central theme by distributing thousands of free copies of a featured book and sparking meaningful dialogue across Winston-Salem. This year's selection is The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee, which explores how racism in policymaking has created an economy where everyone suffers and how we can build a more equitable future together. Join us for the closing keynote talk at the Bookmarks Festival of Books & Authors, moderated by LaTida Smith, President of The Winston-Salem Foundation. We are proud to support Bookmarks and this important conversation about creating a thriving, equitable community for everyone.

  • Nonprofits, foundations, business leaders, faith organizations, and advocates across Forsyth County, including Love Out Loud, have formed an Education Collaborative to meet the most pressing needs in our schools. The collaborative is proud to announce the launch of AllInForOurSchools.org, which serves as a coordinated community hub for donation opportunities specific to identified immediate needs, while evaluating longer-term solutions.

  • It was an honor to be part of this event with the Thriving Together team and to engage with so many passionate leaders in support of a thriving natural world! 🌎

Yesterday was PEA's Bi-Annual Sustainability Roundtable, and we could not be more excited about the energy and passion that our community brought to this room yesterday. The main goal of this event is to convene the people in our community and to turn intentional conversations into vehicles for meaningful and large-scale change 🌍 Yesterday, we had more than 70 environmental stakeholders, business owners, educators, faith leaders, and more at the table to discuss real issues in our community around environment and sustainability and to create the connections needed to create action plans for the upcoming year. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the event! #winstonsalem #environment #networking
