Announcing the official launch of the Ledger Texas Squad. We spent a week in San Antonio and Austin kicking off a new era of blockchain education with a core group of 10 ambassadors, including UT Austin athletes and leadership from both Texas Blockchain and the Texas Wranglers. Ledger N3XT is designed to be the ultimate program for top-tier students and athletes worldwide. Our goal is to empower these future leaders to take control of their digital value using the industry-standard security of the Ledger duo: a Ledger signer paired with the Ledger Wallet™ app. True digital ownership. Free from compromise.

There’s a lab inside Ledger that most people will never see. The Donjon is our in-house security research team: elite researchers who've spent their time since 2018 stress-testing our own products and strengthening security across the ecosystem. ~50 published papers. 10+ open-source tools. ~20 critical vulnerabilities disclosed across the ecosystem. 8 million devices sold. Zero hacks. Their work didn’t just find flaws: it shaped the architecture of every Ledger signer you hold today. This is Episode 1 of Donjon 101 🔐

Building an AI-augmented organisation is a core priority at Ledger. We recently launched AI Talks, a monthly event series designed to spotlight our AI momentum and showcase how teams across the business are turning theory into practical, everyday impact. With over 200 team members joining our first AI Talk, it is clear that these sessions move beyond technical lectures to highlight how teams, often led by non-technical experts, are utilising internal tools to fundamentally change how we operate. Our recent session showcased a forward-thinking approach to efficiency and strategic growth, looking at global AI trends and our strategic vision with Michael B., how AI is revolutionising affiliate management at Ledger with Jean M. an example of efficacy through automating routine legal work with Suk Dhillon, and how Adam H. is slashing campaign publishing time. By celebrating these internal wins, we are fostering a culture that remains on the pulse of innovation. At Ledger, AI is not just a technical initiative but a fundamental shift in how we coordinate, scale and secure the future of digital assets. #LifeAtLedger #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #Innovation

The biggest myth in crypto is that you have to choose between fast DeFi and security. Read the breakdown of how Ledger’s direct connectivity to Velora (formerly ParaSwap) gives you the best of both worlds; seamless swaps and ironclad safety. 👇

Did you know you can buy crypto directly inside Ledger Wallet using payment methods like; credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo? Most people don't. The mental model that stuck was: Ledger is where you store things. You buy somewhere else, transfer it over & lock it away. That's not the whole picture. Today, Ledger Wallet is where you buy, swap, stake, DCA, access DeFi, and manage assets across chains - from a single interface, with your private keys on a physically isolated device the entire time. By holding your Ledger signer next to your phone and approving a buy, that separate device is telling your phone: 'okay, go ahead.' That buy you just made automatically sits on that physical device. You get the seamless experience of a mobile app. You get the ironclad security of a hardware wallet. And with these two together, you're having your cake and eating it.

Most people's first question when they hear about Ledger Wallet and the Ledger signer is: why do I need two things? It's a fair question. The answer makes the whole picture click. Think about how you bank: Your banking app is where you see your balance, pay bills, transfer money, manage everything. But the actual vault holding your money? That's somewhere else entirely; protected by layers most of us never see or think about. Ledger works the same way. Ledger Wallet is the app; beautiful, intuitive. It’s where you buy, swap, stake, and manage 15,000+ assets across chains in one place. It's your financial cockpit. The Ledger signer is the vault. A physical device that holds your private keys completely offline, away from any internet connection, any browser, any potential attack surface. Every transaction you initiate in the app has to be verified and approved on that device's secure screen before it goes anywhere. An app without a signer means your keys live online. A signer without an app means you have security but no usability. Together, they're the only combination that gives you both and stops asking you to choose between the two. 🔒

Ease of use has become a smokescreen for giving up control. For too long, the crypto industry saw it as a tradeoff. Convenience got prioritized and control quietly slipped away. Seedless wallets, one click approvals, custodial defaults; all optimized for frictionless at the expense of actual ownership. The better question to ask was: 'how do we make this easier without giving something up?' That's the design challenge we found worth solving. Users shouldn't have to choose between a good experience and being truly in control of their assets. 🤝

10 years in security has taught us that most people ask the wrong questions. If you want to know if your assets are actually safe, ask these 5 things: 1️⃣ Who can approve transactions? + If your phone can approve without your device, you don't have final say. 2️⃣ Where are your private keys stored? + Software storage means they're accessible to malware. Hardware isolation means they never leave the chip. 3️⃣ Can you see what you're signing? + Blind signing means trusting code you can't read. Clear signing shows the actual transaction details. 4️⃣ How are updates verified? + Firmware updates should be cryptographically signed. Otherwise, you're trusting whoever pushes the update. 5️⃣ What happens if the company disappears? + Open source means your wallet still works. Proprietary means you're locked in. These are questions about who's actually in control of your assets. Are you?

Crypto doesn't have to feel intimidating. We hosted Lotería Night with the San Antonio Spurs Sports & Entertainment in Austin and watching people engage with digital assets in a familiar, social setting reminded us why this work matters. Our partnership with the Spurs is, at its core, about community making crypto accessible through experiences people enjoy.
