Rural hospitals and providers are lifelines for their communities, but thin margins, aging infrastructure, and workforce shortages threaten their future. To address these challenges, state leaders are designing new strategies for sustainable rural health care delivery and pursuing support for these efforts through the Rural Health Transformation Program. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Rural Health Transformation Program offers state leaders an opportunity to secure federal funding to redesign care delivery. States have until a November 5, 2025 deadline to apply for these funds. Along with our strategic partners, we provide advisory services, financial modeling, virtual learning opportunities, and educational resources to guide hospitals through the application process and beyond. I look forward to my upcoming NYU visit!
Director of Career Services @ NYU Wagner | CliftonStrengths Certified Career Coach | Proud 2x AmeriCorps alumna
#NYUWagner students and alumni are invited to join us for this exclusive event on Tuesday, October 14! Paul Decker, President and CEO of Mathematica, has dedicated his career to advancing public well-being by ensuring that government decisions are grounded in evidence. Today, policymakers face both exciting opportunities and significant challenges: a surge of new technologies like artificial intelligence, coupled with heightened pressure to deliver more with fewer resources. These dynamics are reshaping the practice of public policy and the role of individuals and organizations that generate evidence. In this talk, Dr. Decker will reflect on how the public policy field has evolved, the importance of human judgment in an AI-enabled world, and how future leaders can harness innovation to design and implement effective, cost-conscious policies. Space is limited and advance registration is required to attend. This event is for NYU Wagner students, alumni, faculty, and staff only. Attendees must register with an NYU address: https://lnkd.in/ejmCFu3w
