The numbers are in 📈 The 2025 Minor League Cricket season was marked with unprecedented audience growth, underscoring the sport’s accelerating momentum across the United States. The league’s digital viewership and social performance both achieved record highs, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for cricket among US fans. Live viewership across MiLC’s digital platforms surged 258% year-over-year, while total watch hours increased 269%, indicating not just a larger audience, but deeper engagement from fans across the globe. Complementing that viewership growth, MiLC’s social channels saw explosive gains—with impressions up 266% and engagements up 447% compared to the 2024 season. As attention now shifts toward the 2026 season, the bar has been set higher both in performance and promise. American Cricket Enterprises is soliciting proposals from experienced ticketing service providers to implement, manage, and support a fully integrated ticketing system to serve Major League Cricket, its affiliated competitions, and related events. The aim is to elevate the fan experience, grow revenue, and ensure seamless integration with ACE’s growing digital infrastructure. The selected ticketing system will serve as a central element of ACE’s event and fan management operations and must provide capabilities across online sales, venue gate management, inventory control, real-time analytics, CRM integration, and seamless digital access. The system should support various ticket types, resale management, promotional campaigns, mobile ticketing, and multiple sales channels. Proposals due on 10 October, 2025. Last week, our New York-based T20 World Cup drop-in wickets migrated west to Oakland California in preparation for the 2025 Cognizant Major League Cricket opening matches this summer. After a long journey, our team was ecstatic to welcome them to their new home at the Oakland Coliseum. Over the next month, they’ll live in a pop-up nursery in the parking lot where they’ll receive lots of TLC in preparation for the new season, then later be installed on the field. This move is an incredible venture for the development of America’s cricket audience and we’re thankful to have partnered with The LandTek Group and Adelaide Oval to make it all possible. 📰: https://lnkd.in/eg7KeNCU
