The notebook spec is out (and it's an open standard) The sqlnb spec is just plain SQL but with special comments that act as directives for creating charts, connection management & caching. It's heavily inspired by the percent format for Jupyter that demarks cells with # %%. Except it's purpose built for SQL as the first class citizen, not Python!
