Verification and visibility for all enterprises that put people and planet before private profit.

About us

Around the world there is a growing movement of enterprises that prioritise people and planet over private profit. They include social enterprises, cooperatives, fair trade enterprises, social businesses and others. People and Planet First is a banner that unites this global movement. We provide a verification system, access to resources and collective advocacy. Together, through a network of trusted partners, we are transforming business and building an economy for everyone to thrive within the means of our living planet. No greenwashing and socialwashing. When it comes to verifying this business model, we take our standards very seriously. Every enterprise with the People and Planet First verified badge solves social and/or environmental problems and reinvests the majority of profit for the many, not the few. People and Planet First verification is stewarded by the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) and administered by both SEWF and a network of trusted networks throughout the world.
