This week the PGA TOUR officially launched PGA TOUR CENTRAL – a new player app and website designed to replace the long-standing PGA TOUR LINKS. Built entirely in-house and powered by the same AWS technology that powers the TOUR’s fan-facing platforms, PGA TOUR CENTRAL represents a full modernization of player services, offering a fast, mobile-first platform that brings cutting-edge data and video technology into a single secure ecosystem. With PGA TOUR CENTRAL, players now have immediate access to shot-by-shot videos, radar metrics and Strokes Gained analytics within minutes of finishing their round. Advanced AI clipping generates highlight reels and full-round recaps automatically, each video layered with ShotLink powered by CDW data and Trackman radar insights such as ball speed, clubhead speed and apex height. Members can also track their year-over-year performance, dive into detailed course statistics and review real-time ShotLink data before, during and after their rounds – all without leaving the platform. Representing a new one-stop shop for information, CENTRAL streamlines every element of a player’s professional life, consolidating event commitments, endorsement updates, tournament information and official TOUR messaging into one personalized hub. 📝: https://lnkd.in/ejtdR5vM

Tommy Fleetwood was named the recipient of the 2025 Nicklaus-Jacklin Award presented by Aon after playing a pivotal role in delivering Europe’s first Ryder Cup victory on foreign soil since 2012. Fleetwood won his match in each of the first four team match sessions at Bethpage Black, pairing with Rory McIlroy in Foursomes and Justin Rose in Four-ball, and he ended the week with a 4-1-0 record while Team Europe held on to win by a 15-13 margin. But the Englishman was recognized as much for his on-course performance as his comportment inside the ropes, as he remained a calming presence during a week when things sometimes got heated amid the boisterous New York crowds. “When you play in a team event like this, you don’t necessarily set out to win individual awards, but to focus on playing the right way and make the right decisions when it matters most,” Fleetwood said. “But to be acknowledged like this, winning an award that is named after such legends as Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin and in some way follow in their footsteps, is very cool.” https://lnkd.in/ePbbEQAT

These are tiny scissors that are used to clip the microscopic portions of grass that might hang over the edge of the golf hole. While it's just one small action of the hundreds of responsibilities our Superintendents and their teams carry out every day, it is a shining representation of the endless pride, work ethic, and attention to detail it takes to prepare a golf course for the world's best golfers and millions of viewing fans. No stone goes unturned, no blade of grass goes untrimmed - and for that, we are proud to participate in Thank a Golf Superintendent Day. 👏 On behalf of the entire membership, the PGA TOUR adds its voice in recognizing Golf Course Superintendents' essential role as keepers of the green. Thank you!
