A week ago, I wasn't planning on going to Phocuswright. Then a customer told me: "You need to be there." A week later, a prospect said the same thing. So 2 days before the conference, I booked a ticket to San Diego. I thought I was too late to book meetings. So, on the flight over, I sent messages to every travel leader I could find who might be working on ML, search, or personalization. The result: 30+ meetings over 2 days.
