Privacy laws matter, and who you store your data with matters too. But most Europeans still store their emails, files, and photos on big tech platforms, such as Google, that operate under US jurisdiction. This gives authorities easy access to their data, and big tech companies will do anything to keep the authorities happy. Choose European instead.
