Rehabilitate or Reconstruct? A key issue for civil engineers.   With ageing bridges, multistorey car parks and public buildings, civil engineers face a tough choice: demolish - at a high cost (financial, environmental, and time-related) - or rehabilitate. For over 10 years, Toray Carbon Fibers Europe has supported engineers and companies with composite solutions made from carbon fiber. Mais on s’y est attaché ces derniers temps, avec de gros projets sur notre site industriel. Il a fallu se pencher en détail sur leur fonctionnement et sur l’optimisation énergétique de nos lignes de fabrication. Pour nous, les CEE, ça répond à l’ISO 50 001. La décarbonation, c’est de la 14 000. Les choses sont séparées. Même s’il y a un intérêt commun, ce n’est pas exactement la même chose. L’industrie a démontré depuis au moins dix ans comment elle met en œuvre les efficacités énergétiques. Aujourd’hui, cet outil nous permet d’aborder différemment la construction des usines.
