Comment on posts and reply to a comment

Last updated: 1 week ago

Members and LinkedIn Pages can comment on posts and reply to comments from other members and LinkedIn Pages.

Notes:

  • Members and LinkedIn Pages can disable comments on their posts. This will prevent you from commenting.
  • Members can limit commenting on their posts to connections only. This will prevent you from commenting if you aren’t their 1st-degree connection.
  • LinkedIn Pages can allow or restrict comments on their Page posts from all LinkedIn members.
  • When a member or a LinkedIn Page comments on their own post, an Author tag is displayed next to the name.
  • To keep LinkedIn safe and professional, we may limit how many comments a member or a LinkedIn Page can make in a certain time period. Similarly, if we detect excessive comment creation or use of an automation tool, we may limit the visibility of those comments. Verifying your Page, and ensuring that you and the other admins of your Page have added a workplace or identity verification to your member accounts can help you optimize your Page's content creation and visibility.
