As a member on LinkedIn, you can search for and follow an organization's LinkedIn Page or a skills Page. A LinkedIn Page is an organization's brand or online presence on LinkedIn. A skills Page on LinkedIn allows users to follow updates and engage with content related to a specific professional skill such as Machine Learning, or Digital Marketing.

By following an organization’s LinkedIn Page, you get access to:  

• Networking opportunities – View and discover employees at the organization that you can connect with to expand your professional network. 
• Job opportunities – View and discover open roles at the organization and determine your next career move or gain insights into hiring trends at the organization.

By following a skills Page, you get access to:  

• Curated content for skills that you are specifically interested in  
• Networking opportunities with members interested in the same skills as you are
• Exposure to industry trends for skills that you are interested in

You can follow up to 1,000 Pages and get updates on key information that's posted. When you follow a Page, you’ll receive all posts shared by the Page in your homepage feed. Also, your public profile information will be visible to all Page admins. Information about Pages that you follow may be used to show you more relevant ads on LinkedIn. You can opt out of this by changing your advertising preferences.
