You can create a LinkedIn Page for free to represent your organization and build its presence on LinkedIn. Pages make it easy for members to learn more about your company or school, including brand, products and services, and job opportunities.
Here's a tip
You need to have a LinkedIn profile before you can create a Page. Once your profile is set up, you can create, access, and manage your organization's Page directly from your LinkedIn profile.
A LinkedIn Page is your organization’s official presence on LinkedIn, separate from the personal profiles that individuals use. Learn more about the differences between a LinkedIn profile and a LinkedIn Page.

When you create a Page on LinkedIn, you’re assigned as the admin by default.
Following are the types of Pages that you can create on LinkedIn:
| Page type | Key functions | Requirements |
| Company Page | You can create a free Company Page to represent your organization on LinkedIn, share posts to grow and engage your followers, use analytics to understand your audience, and add a call to action to attract and convert leads. To further enhance your Page and convert more members into clients, you can purchase a Premium Company Page subscription. | Personal LinkedIn Profile |
| Career Page | You can create a Career Page to help attract the right talent by showcasing your culture and open roles. After you purchase a Career Page license, you can add a Life tab (for educational institutions and businesses) or a What We Do tab (for search and staffing companies) to create a targeted audience for your Career Page. | Company Page or University Page |
| Showcase Page | You can use a Showcase Page to represent a brand, business unit, or organizational initiative, with the goal of developing a long-term relationship with a specific audience. | Company Page or University Page |

Any LinkedIn member can message you for free regarding your services and may also request a proposal for your services. | Personal profile + Company page or University Page |
| Product Page | You can showcase your company products to LinkedIn members. You can choose from a variety of categories, including digital products like online courses, e-commerce platforms, and administrative support. | Company Page or University Page |
| University Page | You can create a Page for your university or high school to highlight your alumni. They’ll appear on your Page once students add your school in the Education section of their profiles. | Personal LinkedIn Profile |
| Listing Page | LinkedIn creates Listing Pages to help universities and companies build their presence on the platform. If you’re a current employee, you can claim a Listing Page, which automatically removes its banner and makes it function like a Company or University Page. Non-employees violate LinkedIn’s User Agreement if they misrepresent themselves as members of an organization. | Must be an eligible employee |
