You can reorder your current positions in the Experience section to highlight roles that are most important to you. This ensures your key experience is visible to your connections and recruiters, helping you showcase your priorities effectively.
Before you begin

You can only reorder positions that don’t have an end date (your current roles).

The
Sort icon appears only if you have two or more current positions. -
Your past experience is automatically organized chronologically and cannot be reordered.
To reorder current positions:

Click the
Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage. -
Click View profile.

Scroll down to the Experience section and click the
Edit icon. -
Click the
Sort icon in the upper-right corner of the section. -
In the pop-up window, click and hold the
Reorder icon next to a position, then drag it to the desired order. -
Click the
Close icon to save changes. Refresh the page if you don’t see the updated order immediately.
To reorder current positions:

Tap your profile photo.

Tap your profile photo again to access your profile.

Scroll down to the Experience section and tap the
Edit icon. -
Tap
Sort icon on the upper-right corner of the section. -
Tap and hold the
Reorder icon next to a position, then drag it to the desired order. -
Tap the
Close icon to save the changes.
