Delete a post on your LinkedIn Page

Last updated: 4 months ago

As a LinkedIn Page super admin or content admin, you can delete a post from your Page.

You can delete the following types of posts from your LinkedIn Page:

  • Your posts
  • Posts that you reposted
  • Posts that you imported on your Page from external sources like your organization’s website, blogs, YouTube channels, and other RSS supported sources

Deleting a post from your LinkedIn Page can have several implications:

  • Not Reversible – When you delete a post from your LinkedIn page, it is permanently removed and won’t be visible to your followers or anyone visiting your Page. This action cannot be undone. But the deleted post might still appear in other places on LinkedIn if a member has the direct URL to the post.
  • Loss of Engagement - Any likes, comments, or shares associated with the post will be lost. This means that any interaction or engagement generated by the post will be removed.
  • Impact on Analytics - Metrics and insights related to the post, such as views, clicks, and engagement rates, will no longer be available. This can affect your overall Page analytics and understanding of your audience's preferences.

To delete a post:

  1. Access your Page super or content admin view.

  2. Click Page posts in the left menu.

  3. Locate the post you'd like to delete and click the More icon.

  4. Select Delete post.

  5. Click Delete to confirm.
