I’m genuinely impressed by DeepSeek’s advanced analysis, research capabilities, and dynamic visualization features. Today, I spent several hours diving into the architecture and scalability of NodeRED and Node.js, specifically exploring ways to execute untrusted JavaScript code in a secure and flexible environment. DeepSeek proved to be an invaluable resource. It seamlessly accessed the NodeRED GitHub repository, pinpointed the exact code block responsible for function execution, and even highlighted the relevant settings for modifying timeouts. It also suggested alternative methods for executing function nodes, providing clear and actionable insights. What stood out most was DeepSeek’s ability to fact-check and validate its reasoning. When prompted, it transparently walked me through its thought process, demonstrating how it arrived at its conclusions and ensuring accuracy. This level of clarity and reliability is something I truly found awesome. Additionally, DeepSeek provided a detailed comparison of approaches for integrating gVisor and isolate-vm with NodeRED. It presented the information in a structured table format, clearly outlining supported and unsupported features, which made decision-making much easier. While I also experimented with Claude and ChatGPT during this process, I quickly found myself gravitating back to DeepSeek. The experience felt like collaborating with an expert—engaging, insightful, and tailored to my needs. Concepts were explained in a way that was both comprehensive and easy to grasp, making the learning process highly effective. Reflecting on this, I can’t help but think about how different this experience is compared to the pre-ChatGPT era. Imagine sifting through countless Google search results, StackOverflow threads, and forum discussions to piece together the same information.
