Cleaning of data which involved Detecting and correcting errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in data or across datasets, for example, detecting and correcting errors in traffic lane detector data flow values. And, prediction which included Making decisions about upcoming future values of a variable of interest, for example, inferring the number and types of traffic incidents in an upcoming time interval based on historical data using python.

Developed a compiler for a programming language whose syntax is provided by a context-free grammar. This project included development of scanner, parser, abstract syntax tree, symbol table, type checking, intermediate code generation and target code generation

Calculated the page rank of most important Wikipedia pages using AWS Elastic Map Reduce with Hadoop 2.7.2. It involved extracting valid wikilinks and generating the adjacency graph and then applying the PageRank algorithm on it.
