We are excited to announce **Genkit JS v1.26.0**! This release introduces key features to help you build more secure and reliable production AI applications. 🛡️ **Enterprise-Grade Security with Model Armor** You can now integrate **Google Cloud Model Armor** directly into your Genkit pipelines. The new middleware allows you to sanitize user inputs and model outputs, providing a robust layer of protection against sensitive data leaks, jailbreak attempts, and other content safety risks. 🔄 **Reliability with Durable Streaming** We are introducing experimental support for **Durable Streaming**. This feature allows your AI flows to persist their state to a database (like Firestore or Realtime Database or any custom storage). This ensures that even if a client disconnects during a generation, the process continues, and the client can reconnect to receive the results. This is critical for mobile environments and long-running AI tasks. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this new capability. 🛠️ **Dev UI Improvements** The Dev UI now provides better visibility into modern model capabilities, including **reasoning token counts** for thinking models and improved support for multipart tool responses.
