2018 CEC® Certificant Bulletin

Statistics for the ACF Certified Executive Chef® (CEC®) credential are issued annually:

 131 chefs were certified at the CEC® level in 2018.

 As of 12/31/18, there were 2,462 chefs with the CEC® designation.

 260 CEC® written exams were administered in 2018 with 55% passing and 45% failing. The
standard deviation is 9.3, the standard error of measurement is 3.98 and the reliability is
1.07.
 In 2018, there were 190 CEC® practical exam administrations resulting in a 76% pass and
24% fail ratio.
