This book presents the proceedings of the 3rd EAI International Conference on Automation and Control in Theory and Practice (ARTEP 2025), held in Stará Lesná, Slovakia, February 5-7, 2025. The conference proceedings introduce the latest achievements of experts in the field of control, industrial automation and ICT in the industries, addressing modern trends relevant not only to enterprises but also engineering education. The ARTEP proceedings include papers on theoretical aspects of automation and control as well as the latest automation technologies in the context of Industry 4.0. ARTEP is primarily a conference for scientists and practitioners who develop and study automation, management, and technologies.

About the editors
Ján Piteľ is a full professor in automation at the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) and currently works as a vice-rector for international relations and mobilities. His research activities include modelling, simulation, automatic control, and monitoring of machines and processes. He is the author of more than 120 scientific papers registered in databases WoS and Scopus with more than 1200 SCI citations (Hirsch index of 22 in the SCOPUS and 17 in the WoS database).
Angelina Iakovets graduated in 2014 from the Kherson National Technical University, where she got a master's degree in Consolidated information analysis. In 2022, she graduated from the Technical University of Košice, receiving a PhD in Industrial production management. Currently, she is a researcher at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies with a seat in Prešov of Technical University in Košice. She actively takes part in faculty projects and writes scientific articles. She actively cooperates with enterprises and ensures the cooperation of students within the framework of internship programs. Dr. Iakovets was an invited lector of joint programs for virtual mobility: "Advanced Manufacturing: Innovations in Materials and Technologies" (2024) and "Engineer 5.0" (2023-2024) organized by the International Association for Technological Development and Innovations. Angelina Iakovets was the author of the project on integrating digital-era technologies into the management of student projects. Her research focuses on using mobile applications and solutions, entrepreneurial information systems, automation, sustainability and technologies of Industry 4.0 and related branches. She is a member of the EAI research group.
Khrystyna Berladir graduated from Sumy State University in 2012, earning a master`s degree in Applied Materials Science. In 2017, she graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute», where she got the title of Ph.D. In 2023, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at Sumy State University. Currently, she is a researcher at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies with the seat in Prešov of the Technical University of Košice. She is an Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Materials Science and Technology of Constructional Materials at Sumy State University. Dr. Berladir has authored numerous publications in materials science, composite materials, biomaterials and biotechnologies, coatings, and engineering education. She is an organizing committee member of the international scientific conferences «Design, Simulation, Manufacturing: The Innovation Exchange (DSMIE)» and «Grabchenko’s International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing Processes” (InterPartner)», and invited reviewer of peer-reviewed scientific journals "Scientific Reports", "International Journal of Hydrogen Energy", «Polymer Testing», "Polymers", "Materials", "Metals", "Sustainability", "Applied Sciences", etc. She is a member of the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI), the International Association for Technological Development and Innovations, and the International Innovation Foundation.
