Maro Itoje is a professional rugby union player born on 28 October 1994. He plays as a lock or blindside flanker for Saracens in the Gallagher Premiership and for the England national team. Itoje made his senior debut for Saracens in 2013 and has since won five Premiership titles three and European Champions Cups with the club. He earned his first cap for England in 2016, and has gone on to win three Six Nations titles. He was part of the side that made it to the World Cup final in 2019, and was selected for the British & Irish Lions in 2017 and 2021. Itoje was named England captain for the 2025 Six Nations.
