The Premier League is an annual tournament and the highest level of the English football league system. It was established in 1992 after the decision to separate the Football League First Division from the English Football League and made a significant change in the organisation and commercialisation of the game. The Premier League benefits from a £5 billion television rights deal with channels such as Sky and BT and is projected to earn $7.2 billion in overseas TV rights from 2022 to 2025. It is comprised of 20 teams and currently features Manchester United, who have won the most championships, as well as Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
