I just ran my bike to test navit on bike profile. The scenario is: navit runs on the phone which sits in the pocket. navigation happens exclusively by the spoken instructions.
The test: will I get lost?

these are the observations:

• I had to take out the phone twice to look at the screen (the test didn't pass. I got lost.)
• there are frequent unnecessary instructions. "follow the street for20m", follow the street for 0m"
• at one point navigation simply stopped
• at one point, instructions were given late, when I was already past that point
• at one point (I suspect) to save of a few m, an unnecessary complex route (adding a left turn crossing the street and another t turn) was proposed.
