Steps to Reproduce

1. open up any project
2. make sure the content in editor and pdf are viewable
3. use the middle resize handle and drag it left and right

4. while you are dragging check if both editor and pdf are viewable

Expected Behaviour

when i adjust the sizing between the two it should still show both in the app and not disappear

Observed Behaviour

the editor and pdf disappear when adjusting the sizing

Context

whenever i try to adjust between them i cant tell how much i need to because i cannot see them both
