في إطار سعيها لتعزيز الوعي المالي بين مختلف فئات المجتمع، نظمت هيئة الأوراق المالية والسلع بالتعاون مع مجالس أبوظبي ورشة تعريفية لكبار المواطنين حول خدمة الأرباح غير المستلمة لما قبل عام 2015. وقد عقدت الورشة في مجلس سعادة هلال زيد الشحي، وركزت على تعريف المشاركين بالخدمة وآلية الاستفادة منها، بما يسهم في تمكينهم من المطالبة بحقوقهم المالية بطريقة ميسرة. كما وتطرقت الورشة إلى التعريف بمصادر الربحية من الأسهم وآلية توزيع الأرباح على المساهمين، بالإضافة إلى التحذير من الإعلانات الوهمية وكيفية التعامل معها. In line with its efforts to enhance financial awareness across all segments of society, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), in cooperation with Majalis Abu Dhabi, organized an awareness workshop for senior citizens on the service related to “unclaimed dividends prior to 2015”. The workshop was held at the majlis of H.E. Hilal alshehhi and focused on explaining the service and how to benefit from it, enabling participants to claim their financial entitlements through a streamlined process. The workshop also addressed the sources of profitability from stocks and the mechanism for distributing profits to shareholders, in addition to warning participants about fake advertisements and how to deal with them.
