AniDB is a database containing information on anime; a good comparison is "Wikipedia for anime".
AniDB does NOT provide or allow any form of download/streaming/watching/etc support here, regardless of the technology involved, and regardless of its legality. Any and all questions about such matters will be locked/removed on sight, and the same applies to offering such support in any way or form.
Along the same line, AniDB does NOT host or offer any files for download, streaming, watching, or whatever else you can think of; this applies to the website and to any and all AniDB clients (e.g. AniDB o'Matic) alike.
When posting in the forum/comment section, remember that general netiquette rules apply. Do not verbally assault other users (that includes provoking other users for an aggressive reply), do not spam, and do not write posts that have no relevance to the topic you're posting in and or discussion immediately at hand.
On moderator action:
Moderators can delete posts, split threads, or undertake any other moderating action without warning, notice, or need for explanation. Moderators are also the final judges of these rules, and have full authority on deciding when and how to act.
If you believe one such action was unfair, mistaken, or accidental, you are free to ask for a reevaluation; this request should preferably be submitted to the moderator who acted originally, if you know who they are. However, complaints about actions on clear rule violations are very likely to be ignored, as are any aggressive requests; it is strongly suggested that you wait until the next day, and then consider whether your request has any chance of going through, before actually writing anything.
Repeated or particularly severe infractions may result in stronger punishments; the same applies to attempts to circumvent these rules.
On anime recommendations:
By definition, a recommendation is expressly a positive statement. If you want to write something negative about an anime, use the review feature or write a comment in the comments thread, as everyone else has suggested.
No one is saying you are not allowed to have a negative opinion of an anime; you are simply not to use the anime recommendations feature to express a negative opinion. Use the review, preview, or comments features instead.
