Astronomy has always seemed beyond our reach. Not just because it studies the universe beyond the Earth's atmosphere, but because there are very few avenues for the ordinary citizens to study it. AstronEra is changing that. AstronEra is doing magical work. Scientifically. It is making Astronomy accessible, enjoyable and within reach for citizens around the world.

Such a remarkable initiative of digitising astronomy by Shweta Kulkarni, whom I admire enormously. I applaud her very noble objective to create a scientific temper. This is precisely what India needs.

The IAU OAD is proud to support the Astrotribe project. By training and supporting disadvantaged tribal students, they are not only improving the students' educational outcomes but also setting them up with livelihood opportunities, boosting their soft skills, and helping them develop as individuals.
