There are flu editors with more features than this app, but but I find myself being drawn back to Snapseed for the vast majority of my edits. The user interface allows for quick basic adjustments and the ability to apply looks that I have created previously saves time. All they need to do is update the AI object removal (currently a bit wonky clone stamp style removal) and put the “last edits” look FIRST instead of all the way at the end and it will be a slam dunk!
I am not a fan of this newest update. Too many things are different and I’m really not liking the adjust feature update. I don’t know if it’s just too low or the adjustment features are too close together or what. I keep either choosing the wrong one I want. The screen when the app opens makes me nauseous when I look at it. The app was perfect the way it was in the previous update. Now it’s like using a whole different editing app. 😞 I suppose I’ll get used to it but still…
I’ve use this for several years and there was never an issue. Now this new update has many of the tools still there, but unavailable to use (because you can’t find them). And now you have to upload each picture individually into the Snapseed app in order to edit it, when you used to be able to sync it up with your camera roll and go/swipe picture by picture
I use this photo editor to remove objects and refine my images for my own personal projects as well as for my e-commerce business. It is super easy to use and feels premium. I especially like the filters, and healing brush, as well as the fonts. The only drawback is that I wish it had more features, but it does contain all the necessary stuff you need to help beautify and enhance. It is one of those apps that I couldn’t live without, so highly recommended!
Had this app for along time, then put it into my dustbin. iOS26 and new mini iPad I’ve brought this app back into use. Have one strange issue though. If in Files app I can bring into Snapseed, do the photo editing and then can store it back into the Files app. However, if open the Snapseed app all I can bring in to photo editing are images in my camera roll. Cannot see anything in the Files app. That is why the rating is only 4 stars.
I’ve been a longtime Snapseed user. For mobile-photography, Snapseed is unmatched and way ahead of the competition. I had been used to the way the app wad layed out for years, but suddenly I updated the app and was met with an entirely new UI. Not a fan of it. It feels like an entirely different app. I wish they hopefully will add a “classic view” toggle, because this new layout is counter productive
